California based company, Blu, has launched a new smartphone called Blu Life Max. It’s an addition to the company’s Life series. It will soon be available in US, as company’s official online retail partner, Amazon, has listed it as out of stock without providing any further information on its arrival. The unlocked version of the smartphone has been priced at $118.87 (approx Rs. 8,000). The smartphone is exclusively available in Dark Blue Color.
Blu Life Max sports 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with “Blu Infinite View” according to which it features a curved glass around the corners of the smartphone and a resolution of 267 ppi. It is powered by by a 1.3GHz quad-core Media Tek 6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features Mali T-720 GPU for the graphics and better gaming experience.
It’s a dual SIM (Micro SIM) smartphone and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device packs 3700mAh battery which can run the smartphone up to 3 days on standard usage, company claimed. It offers 8 GB internal storage which can be expandable further up to 16GB via MicroSD card.
In terms of camera, the smartphone sports 8MP rear camera with LED flash and FHD (full high definition) video recording capability. On the other hand, it features 5MP front facing camera along with flash module for better low light selfies. It also offers a fingerprint sensor on the back located below the camera and flash module.
The device supports carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Straight Talk, and more. Other connectivity options include- 4G LTE, GPRS/ Edge, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Sensors on board Blu Life Max, other than fingerprint sensor, include- Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient Light sensor.
