Snapdeal has introduced a new service, called Cash@Home, for its customers allowing them order Rs. 2000 cash from its website which will be delivered to the customers’ doorsteps. The limit for ordering cash has been set Rs. 2000. Deliveries will depend on the cash’s availability. Ordering cash from Snapdeal is as simple as ordering other products.
To get started, install the Snapdeal app from app store, or open if already installed. The app uses your location data to check if the cash is available at your location. If it’s available then you will be redirected to the order page and if not then the app will notify you with push notification on its availability.
Snapdeal will charge Rs. 1 on every order. You can make payment, on arrival of Snapdeal logistics executive with POS machine at your house, either by the company’s wallet “Freecharge” or by swiping your debit/ credit card on the POS machine.
There is only Rs. 2000 per day limit on ordering. The orders will be processed only on Snapdeal’s app. The service has already been started in Gurugram (Gurgaon) and Begaluru. Snapdeal is distributing the cash it received from cash on delivery orders. So, the cash availability will depend on the orders it receives through CoD.

The launch of the cash on demand service is intended to further help our consumers tide over any cash crunch that they might face in addressing their daily needs,” he added further.
Snapdeal is not the first company to bring this service. Some other companies had also initiated such services offering cash up to Rs. 1000 or Rs. 2000 delivered at home via mobile ATMs.
