JBL Launches A Range Of Bluetooth Speakers At CES 2017

Harman International has launched a range of JBL Bluetooth speakers at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The newly launched Bluetooth speakers include- Pulse 3, Flip 4, Basspro Go, and Playlist. All these products will be available to buy in the coming months.

Starting with JBL Pulse 3, it’s a waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker that features 360-degree sound with 360-degree lighting panel for interactive light show. It has multi color visuals that glows according to the music being played on the speaker. The speaker consists of three drivers and dual passive radiators. It can perform continuously up to 12 hours with the light system on. It supports JBL’s Connect+ technology, according to which, it can be connected to over 100 Connect+ speakers and can play a same song together. It can be paired with up to two smartphones simultaneously. It also features noise and echo cancelling speaker phone. You can control the change songs or search songs with your voice and for that, you have to invoke Siri, Google Now, or JBL’s own voice assistant by just pressing a button. It will be available this spring in black and white color options at a price of $199.




The next product is Flip 4-  It’s also a waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker which is almost same as Pulse 3 but ain’t got the lighting system. Just like Pulse 3, it can be paired with up to two smartphones simultaneously and has same battery life of up to 12 hours. It can also be controlled over voice and sports a water resistant body. It is made up of rubber and some kinda fabric which makes it more durable. It also supports JBL Connect+ tech and has been priced at $99.

Getting on to the Basspro Go, it comes in the category of subwoofer and also portable speaker. According to JBL, it works as well as an 8-inch subwoofer and can be used in cars as an addition. It is capable of playing music for up to 15 hours, claims company. It can be paired with up to three devices at once. It is also water resistant and comes with JBL Connect+ tech support. It will be available in summer at a price of $599.

JBL Playlist speakers comes with Chromecast built-in which allows you to play music directly from your music app or radio over WiFi. You can control the speakers from anywhere in the house from your smart devices like smartphones, tablet, Mac, or laptop. More than one user can play their songs by casting it to JBL playlist. Users can also connect their device to Playlist via Bluetooth. It features 24bit/96kHz high quality sound and will be available at a price of $149 later in March.
