Lenovo on Tuesday launched a premium version of K6 Power smartphone in India featuring 4GB of RAM and comes with a price difference of Rs. 1,000. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 10,999 and will be available alongside the 3GB RAM variant from January 31 via Flipkart. The Lenovo K6 power was first revealed at IFA 2016 alongside the Lenovo K6 and Lenovo K6 Note.

The highlight of the Lenovo K6 Power is its battery. It sports a large 4000mAh battery that’s rated to deliver up to 96.5 hours of music playback, 13.6 hours of video playback, 48 hours of voice calls, 12.6 hours of Web surfing, and 649 hours of standby time. Besides the Ultimate Powersaver mode, the smartphone sports a reverse charge option, allowing it to be used as a power bank.




The Lenovo K6 power sports a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of optics, it features an 13-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF and LED flash, at front it bears an 8-megapixel with a Sony IMX219 sensor and a wide-angle lens. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own Vibe Pure UI skin on top, and a fingerprint sensor that’s located on the rear panel below the camera lens.

Connectivity options include –  dual-Sim, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS/ A-GPS. It also features Dolby Atmos audio enhancements for earphones and stereo speakers, TheaterMax media-consumption service. Sensors include – Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor, and Digital Compass. It measures 141.9 x 70.3 x 9.3mm and weighs in at 145 grams.
