Lenovo P2 is the next smartphone that the company will be launching in India. The Lenovo P series has always focused on battery as the USP, and it is the same with the P2. The company via its Twitter India handle on Monday began teasing the launch of the smartphone, however , at this point, no details of availability or price are known.
The Lenovo P2 was first showcased at IFA 2016. The smartphone is already available in several regions globally including China, where only 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage has gone up for sale. China pricing is CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 24,500), and we can expect the smartphone to be significantly cheaper in India due to hardware differences.
Lenovo P2 has a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 4GB of RAM variant. The storage space is the same at 32GB, which is expandable up to 128GB.
The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and there’s a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The Lenovo P2 has a fingerprint scanner on the front. The smartphone is bundled with a 5100mAh battery. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports NFC. It comes in two color options – Gold and Grey.
