Lenovo Z2 Plus Gets a Price Cut: Now Available at Rs. 14,999

Chinese handset maker Lenovo has announced a price cut for the Z2 Plus smartphone in India. Lenovo Z2 Plus, which was launched as an Amazon exclusive in India, is now available on Flipkart. The phone is now selling at a starting price of Rs.14,999, which is Rs. 3,000 less than its original launch price.

The 64GB model of the Lenovo Z2 Plus. will now be available at Rs. 17,499, down from the launch price of Rs. 19,999 – a discount of Rs. 2,500 – and will be stocked by retail stores. With Monday’s sale, Lenovo has ended Amazon’s exclusivity for the Z2 Plus.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus, which is known as the Zuk Z2 in the international market, was launched back in September last year in India.

Talking about the specifications, the Lenovo Z2 Plus sports a 5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) full-HD display made by sharp, with a pixel density of 441 ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The smartphone will be available in either 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage models. 




The dual-SIM (4G+4G) smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash, and Electronic Image Stabilistaion (EIS) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus is bundled with a 3500mAh battery that also features an intelligent charge cut-off feature to ensure the battery does not overcharge. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s skin atop and also features Google Now Launcher which is preloaded.

Connectivity options include – Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G. The smartphone also sports the U Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor on the home button.
