Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J7 Pro specifications, price

Samsung has added two new smartphones in its ‘Galaxy J’ series namely Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro in India. The Galaxy J7 Max has been priced at Rs. 17,900 while the Pro variant comes at a price tag of Rs. 20,900 and will be available in two color options- Gold & Black. Samsung has partnered with Reliance Jio to provide its buyers 120GB of additional data.

Galaxy J7 Max will be available to buy from June 20 via authorized retailers across the country and Samsung’s online store. Galaxy J7 Pro will be made available in July through same medium across the country. In terms of features, Galaxy J7 Max include support for Samsung Pay Mini which is a toned-down version of Samsung Pay and can be used as mobile wallet and for UPI payments. While the Galaxy J7 Pro has built-in NFC and comes pre-loaded with Samsung Pay feature that works with regular POS machines for tap and pay offline payments and much more.

Coming to Galaxy J7 Max specifications, the smartphone sports slim metal unibody with 5.7-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC paired with Mali T880 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports fingerprint sensor in its home button.




It features 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash while on the front side, it features 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash for better low light imaging. The rear camera is surrounded by smart glow that starts glowing when the notification arrives. It’s a dual SIM (Micro SIM) smartphones that comes packed with 3300mAh battery. Connectivity options on board Galaxy J7 Max include 4G LTE Cat 4, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include- proximity, accelerometer, magnetometer, and ambient light.

While the Galaxy J7 Pro sports full metal unibody design with 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) sAMOLED display. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC paired with Mali T830 MP2 and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage which can be extended further up to 256GB via microSD card. It also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and sports fingerprint sensor in its home button.

It features same 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash and 13MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. It’s a dual SIM (Nano SIM) smartphone that packs 3600mAh battery and comes with IP64 certification for being splash proof. Connectivity options on board Galaxy J7 Max include 4G LTE Cat 6, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include- proximity, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope and ambient light.
