“Mohenjo Daro” is an upcoming epic adventure-romance film base on the the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC. The film is co-edited, co-produced, co-written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita A. Gowariker, the film “Mohenjo Daro” features Hritik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in a lead role.
The film revolves around the protagonist who falls in love with his enemy’s daughter who is a dancer. Th film is full of romance, action, thrill and adventure. Director, Gowariker took almost three years to shoot the film. He also took help of archaeologists who documented the the discovery of Indus Valley civilisation. Mohenjo Daro is mostly filmed in Bhuj and Mumbai. The music is composed by A R Rahman.
The film features Hritik Roshan as Sarman, Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi, Arunoday Singh, Kishori Shahane, Casey Frank, Narendra Jha & Nitish Bhardwaj, who will play the role of Durjan.
