Vivo is all set to launch two new smartphones V5 and V5 Plus. The devices are successors to company’s V3 and V3 Max announced in April. Vivo has already sent out media invites for the launch event, hinting at ‘selfie-centric’ smartphones. Now, Phoneradar has leaked full specifications of both V5 and V5 Plus.
Going by the leaked image, shared by Phoneradar website, the smartphones will feature a similar metal unibody design and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS. The Vivo V5 and Vivo V5 Plus will have 20-Megapixel front camera each. If the leaks are anything to go by, the camera on the two smartphones will be able to deliver really sharp images with enhanced clarity.
Vivo V5 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels). It will be powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM expandable upto 128GB via microSD card. The home button in Vivo V5 will double up as a fingerprint sensor. The dual-SIM device is bundled with 3,000mAh battery.
The smartphones will support 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GLONASS, and GPS connectivity. Sensors in Vivo V5 include – Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and E-compass sensor. The smartphone will be available in Rose Gold and Gold color variants. Vivo V5 plus is expected to come with similar specifications but with better display and a bigger battery.
