Xiaomi is ready to bring its Redmi Note 4, latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series, in India soon. The Redmi Note 4 could be the first smartphone launch from Xiaomi in India in 2017. Redmi Note 4 is the successor to popular Redmi Note 3, which was one of the best-selling device for the company in India. Xiaomi itself have not confirmed any launch event for January yet.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was introduced in China with MediaTek Helio P20 SoC but the company will launch the device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset in India.. The smartphone is expected to be made available in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is quite similar to Redmi Note 3 in terms of design and specifications, but has a Type-C USB port. However, the processor will likely be a Qualcomm, instead of MediaTek chip version which sells in China.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was unveiled in China. It featured a full metal unibody design and a big 4,100mAh battery, and was priced at 899 Yaun(appx. Rs.9,031) for the 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM and 1199 Yuan(appx. Rs.12,045) for 64GB variant with 3GB of RAM.
In terms of display, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by 2.1GHz deca-core processor coupled with 2GB and 3GB of RAM variants. It offers 16GB and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card.
Redmi Note 4 sports hybrid dual-SIM functionality and runs on company’s latest MIUI 8 OS. The smartphone features a 13-megapixel primary camera, and 5-megapixel front camera. The Note 4 has a fingerprint scanner at the back. Redmi Note 4 is listed in three color variants in china – Gold, Silver and Grey.
