Xiaomi officially announced the arrival of Android 13-based MIUI 14 on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress “MWC 2023” in Barcelona.
The latest UI from Xiaomi has already been running on a few devices in India. Xiaomi 13 Pro would be the first device to come with MIUI 14 out of the box with some country-specific features. The device will launch on February 26th in India, a day before the official launch of the latest MIUI.
Xiaomi claims the latest MIUI runs 60% smoother compared to its predecessor Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The company says this is the most optimized and streamlined MIUI to date and it starts with Project Razor.
MIUI 14 developers updated the system architecture on the Android Kernel level with CPU, GPU, and memory resource scheduling, lighter system firmware size, and decreased memory usage.
