Honor unveiled its latest smartphone series Honor Magic 5 Series at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Barcelona. The company also launched Honor Vs, its first foldable flagship to be shipped outside China.
Price and availability –
The price of the Honor Magic 5 starts at EUR 899 (approx, Rs. 78,800), while the Honor Magic 5 Pro comes at EUR 1199 (approx, Rs. 1,05,100) for the 12GB/512 GB storage model. On the other hand, the Honor Magic Vs offers a similar configuration at EUR 1599 (approx, Rs. 1,40,300).
There is no update regarding the availability of smartphones yet.

The device has a 6.73-inch OLED display with a 19.54:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with Adreno 740 GPU.
Talking about the camera, it gets a 54-megapixel wide main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens, along with a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Honor Magic 5 is backed by a 5,100mAh battery. Other features include – 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. It is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
Honor Magic 5 Pro
The smartphone features a 6.81-inch OLED display with a 19.54:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a quad-curved floating screen with support for gestures. The device runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with Adreno 740 GPU.
The Honor Magic 5 Pro gets a triple-unit rear camera led by a 50-megapixel wide primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS. It also sports a rear single LED flash at the back. For selfies, users get a 12-megapixel front snapper with a 3D depth camera.
The smartphone packs a 5,100 mAh battery with a 66W SuperCharge charger and 50W support for wireless charging. Other features include – 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C. It is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.
Honor Magic Vs
Honor Magic Vs will be the first foldable smartphone produced by Honor to debut outside china. It features a 7.9-inch inner display and a 6.45-inch external screen, with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent.
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with Adreno 730 GPU. It packs a 5,000mAh battery coupled with an HONOR 66W SuperCharge charger. Other features include – WiFi, Bluetooth, and 5G connectivity support.
The camera section includes a 54-megapixel led triple camera setup and a 16-megapixel front snapper. The rear camera unit also has a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
