Lenovo Unveils K6, K6 Power, K6 Note, A Plus, & P2 Smartphones At IFA 2016

Lenovo recently launched a range of new smartphones at IFA 2016 tradeshow in Berlin. The company unveiled K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note smartphones.

These smartphones are expected to go on sale starting from this month. These smartphones features metal unibody design and will be available exclusively in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey color variants. The company has not yet announced the pricing of these smartphones.

Lenovo K6 : The smartphone features 5-inch HD display having a resolution of 1920×1090 pixels. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage and also sports Adreno 505 GPU. Packed with 3000mAh battery, Lenovo K6 offers 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera. K6 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features fingerprint sensor as well. It’s a dual SIM smartphone which also supports 4G LTE.

Lenovo K6 Power : It comes two options – 2GB of RAM with 16GB storage OR 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage. Opt out for the one that suits you best. The smartphone is wrapped with 4000mAh battery to provide unstoppable gaming and entertainment. These are the only changes that can be seen in K6 Power in comparison to K6.

Lenovo K6 Note : K6 Note features 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It also comes in two variants, one having 3GB RAM & 32GB storage and the other one features 4GB RAM with 32GB storage. The smartphone is powered by same 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor packed with 4000mAh battery. It also sports Adreno 505 GPU and a fingerprint sensor. It offers 16MP front camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front camera.

Despite the above three smartphones, the company also revealed A Plus and P2 smartphones that will exclusively be available in Europe initially. Lenovo A Plus is priced at EUR 69 i.e. appx. Rs.5,200 and Lenovo P2 will cost you EUR 249, appx. Rs.18,500. Lenovo A Plus will go on sale in November whereas P2 will be available starting this month.

In terms of specifications, Lenovo A Plus features 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz processor paired with 1GB RAM and sports 8GB of internal storage. It comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. It’s a dual SIM smartphone, supports 4G with VoLTE, and is packed with 2000mAh battery.

While Lenovo P2 features 5.5-inch full-HD Amoled display having a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Lenovo P2 is wrapped with a large 5100mAh battery which also supports fast-charging. It comes with 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, Sony sensor and 5MP front camera.

The company also announced 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage variant of Lenovo P2 which will be launched in China.
