2 Soldiers injured in encounter with terrorists, 1 terrorist killed

Two soldiers got injured last night in an encounter with terrorits in South Kashmir’s Shopian district. According to the reports, one terrorist was killed in the gunfight. The gunfight between the security forces and terrorists is still on. As per the police, the battle started after midnight in Wangam village of Shopian district.

As per the media reports, one more terrorist was killed on Saturday in Shopian district in an encounter leaving one soldier injured. Crawling more reports, two soldiers were also killed on Sunday because of the Pakistani firing along the LoC in Krishna Ghati and Poonch sectors of Poonch district.




Going through the recent data till now, eight soldiers have been killed in either encounter with terrorists or in Pakistani firing. Around 10 civilians were also killed in recent days because of the Pakistani firing.

After the surgical strike, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire more than 60 times at Indian Army posts and villages across the Line of Control. Indian Army has also responded to the firing equally, killing dozens of Pakistani soldiers.

Home Minister, Rajnath Singh reacted strongly to the ceasefire violation saying “Look us in the eye and fight us. We will rise victorious.” On September 29, Indian Army conducted a surgical strike killing dozens of terrorists camping across the border and causing lots of damage. A lot has happened since then like banning of Indian Cinema in Pakistan and calling for ban over Pakistani artists in India.

Pakistan is violating ceasefire almost daily since the surgical strike. Many terrorists have crossed the border and entered India as a result of ceasefire violation, causing damage to Indian Army and civilians. Many of them have been killed in encounters with Army since the strike.
