HTC has launched its latest smartphone in its homeland, Taiwan, as an addition to its Desire range called “Desire 650.” The company has listed the new Desire-range smartphone on its website, but, have not revealed any price and availability details yet. However, you can expect it at a price of TWD 5,490 (appx. Rs. 11,800) and an early December availability.
The company is highlighting is back panel design by calling it “double back.” HTC has added a new sculptured grip design according to which its back is half planer and half features sculptured design to offer better grip.
HTC Desire 650 sports 5-inch HD TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. Its screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass cover protection. The smartphone is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 2GB RAM. HTC haven’t provided any further chipset details yet. It comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via MicroSD card.
Desire 650 sports a 13MP rear camera autofocus, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash. The camera’s back-illuminated sensor (BSI) lets you take bright pictures in low lights. On the other hand, it features 5MP front facing camera with BSI sensor, f/1.8 aperture, and auto-self timer.
It’s a single SIM (Nano SIM) smartphone packed with 2200mAh battery. It runs HTC Sense UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone supports 4G LTE network connectivity. Other Connectivity options include- 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB 2.0, NFC, Bluetooth v4.1, WI-fI 802.11 B/G/N (2.4GHz), and GPS/ AGPS + GLONASS. Sensors on board include- proximity, ambient light, and accelerometer.
The phone also comes with pre-loaded Google Photos app which lets you store all your photos and videos so that the phone has more space for other files. It also features Boost+ built-in smart boost function that lets you clear memory, junk files, and boost performance so that your smartphone can maintain its peak condition. The phone also comes with thousands of different theme designs and the best part is that, you can create your own theme by using your photos and then mixing them according to your need.
