Vivo has launched three new smartphones X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 in China on Wednesday. X9 is now available to buy while Xplay6 is up for pre-order. However, the company haven’t commented on X9 Plus availability yet. Recently, the company has also launched a brand new smartphone in India called Vivo V5.
Let’s talk about Vivo X9 Plus, the smartphone features a 5.8-inch, quite bigger than X9, FHD IPS display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. X9 is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. Unlike Vivo X9, the X9 Plus will only be available in 128GB internal storage option. Vivo is not offering 64GB variant with X9 Plus.
It comes with 16MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto focus), and f/2.0 aperture. The highlight of the smartphone is its dual front-facing cameras- 20MP + 8MP. Front cameras comes with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
It’s a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) smartphone which also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity. It comes with company’s own UI called FuntouchOS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM Radio. The smartphone is packed with larger 4000mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. Sensors on board include- Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Vivo X9 Plus will be available in Gold and Rose Gold color options. For now, the company haven’t announced the price for X9 Plus but will be announcing soon.
