Vivo has launched three new smartphones X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 in China on Wednesday. X9 is now available to buy while Xplay6 is up for pre-order. However, the company haven’t commented on X9 Plus availability yet. Recently, the company has also launched a brand new smartphone in India called Vivo V5.

Let’s talk about Vivo Xplay6, the smartphone features a 5.46-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. It also sports full metal body. Xplus6 is powered by an quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. Just like X9 Plus, Vivo Xplay6 will also be available in one internal storage option i.e. 128GB. Vivo is not offering 64GB variant with Xplay6.
It comes with dual rear cameras, one sensor being a 12MP Sony IMX362 with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto focus), and f/1.7 aperture. The secondary sensor is a 5MP unit that mainly focuses on depth information. It also sports 16MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It’s a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) smartphone which also supports 4G VoLTE connectivity. It comes with company’s own UI called FuntouchOS 3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. The smartphone is packed with 4080mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. Sensors on board include- Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Xplay6 is up for pre-order in China at a price of CNY 4,498 (appx. Rs.44,500). Like Vivo X9 and Vivo XP Plus, Xplay6 will also be available in Gold and Rose Gold color options.
