HMD Global has introduced a new Nokia Android smartphone named Nokia 6. Finally, there is a Nokia smartphone in market after such a long time. HMD Global announced the launched by simply listing the phone on its website.

Getting on to the smartphone’s specifications, it sports 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection and a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB internal storage which can be expandable further up to 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone features 16MP rear camera with PDAF (phase detection auto focus), f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. While, on the other hand, it has a 8MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Nokia 6 has been built using 6000 series Aluminum and features a unibody design. The android smartphone also sports fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone that comes packed with 3000mAh non-removable battery. Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports 4G/LTE network connectivity. It comes with Dolby Atmos technology and dual amplifiers for louder sound. Connectivity options on board Nokia 6 include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include- magnetometer, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope.
Here comes a bad news for Nokia lovers in countries other than China. The smartphone will remain China-exclusive as the company has no plans to launch it in other markets but confirmed that there are more to come and said it’s just a start. China users can buy the smartphone from JD.com at a price of CNY 1,699 (approx $245 OR Rs. 16,739).
