OnePlus had promised that both its flagships will get Nougat update before 2017 and it delivered on that promise as it delivered the update right on the last day of the previous year just a few days after it rolled out the last beta update to OnePlus 3 testers. This comes as a surprise and shows that the company is actually working hard to improve the software experience and delivering on its promises.
The list of improvements to look forward in this update include:
- New Notifications Design
- New Settings Menu Design
- Multi-Window View
- Notification Direct Reply
- Custom DPI Support
- Added Status Bar Icon Options
- Improved Shelf Customization
The update will roll out to a small percentage of the users first and then to everyone as like always it is a gradual update as most probably the servers can’t handle the load to cater the update to all the users at once.
