China-based smartphone maker Coolpad has launched an all-new version of its previously launched smartphone Coolpad Cool 3 called Coolpad Cool 3 Plus in India at a starting price of Rs. 5,999.
The smartphone looks premium with ‘dewdrop’ notch display at the front and dual color glass-finish back. The base model with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage has been priced at Rs. 5,999 while the top variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage features a price tag of Rs. 6,499.
Both variants are scheduled to go on sale via Amazon India starting July 2, 2019, and the color options include Cherry Black and Ocean Blue. Head over to Amazon India website to check for any launch offers.
Coolpad Cool 3 Plus sports 5.71-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) IPS LCD display with an 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering up the phone is the 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with an IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU and up to 3GB RAM. The internal storage i.e. 16GB or 32GB can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
Optics on the smartphone include a 13MP AI single rear camera with 6 label beauty mode, anti-flicker mode, bokeh, time-lapse, and LED flash. The camera app also supports FaceCute stickers. On the front hiding under the notch is the 8MP AI selfie camera that offers AI features such as portrait mode, beauty mode, and also supports FaceCute stickers.
Cool 3 Plus also supports face unlock technology and the company says that it can unlock the phone with your face even in the night or low light. While the fingerprint sensor comes mounted on the rear panel.
The device runs Android 9.0 Pie and supports Game Optimization that delivers optimized performance and enhances the gaming experience. It’s a dual SIM smartphone that accepts two Nano SIMs and packs a 3000mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro USB port. Sensors on the Coolpad Cool 3 Plus include accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and magnetometer.
