Domestic Smartphone maker Xolo is all set to launch its latest smartphone. Xolo has sent out invites for the launch of Era 2X smartphone scheduled to take place on January 5.
The Xolo Era 2X is successor of Xolo Era 1X smartphone, which was launched in September last year. There is little else that is known about the smartphone yet, but it is expected to be a Flipkart exclusive, just like its predecessor. In its invite, the company has highlighted the hashtag #TaptoLife, hinting that the smartphone will come with the Tap to Unlock feature.
The Xolo Era 1X was launched at Rs. 4,999 and was Flipkart exclusive. The smartphone features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixel) HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz spreadtrum quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There’s also 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers dual-sim functionality. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
Connectivity options include – 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also offers features like Audio Note, Smart Screenshot, Smart Awake, Assistant Cast screen, LED flash for call and Flip to Mute for alarms and calls.
