Asus has launched its latest addition to its Zenfone 3 series smartphone called Zenfone 3S Max. The smartphone comes at a price of Rs. 14,999 and will be available at all authorized outlets across the country. The smartphone will also be sold online via major online retail stores. The company is offering the device in Sand Gold and Black color options.
Asus Zenfone 3S Max sports 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D contoured edge and built-in blue light filter to protect the eyes. It sports aluminum metal body and is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
It features 13MP rear camera packed with f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, and dual-LED real-tone flash. It also supports low light mode, super resolution mode, beautification mode among others. While on the front side, it gets 8MP sensor that is also packed with low-light and beautification modes. The smartphone runs company’s ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat that includes features like multi-window mode, GameGenie, and ZenMotion Touch Gesture.
It’s a dual-SIM (Micro SIM+ Nano SIM) smartphone that packs a large 5000mAh battery just like Zenfone 3 Max which is capable of delivering 3 days backup on normal usage. The device also sports fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button. It also comes with reverse charging feature according to which the smartphone can become a power bank for other devices.
It wraps standard connectivity options like WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, FM Radio, GPS/ A-GPS, AND 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board Asus Zenfone 3S Max (ZC521TL) includes- Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. Other features of the smartphone include dual-microphone setup for noise cancellation and an ICEpower-enhanced mono loudspeaker for enhanced sound quality.
