Lenovo owned Moto has launched a budget smartphone for Indian smartphone market named Moto C. The smartphone was introduced last month in other international markets in two variants- 3G + 1GB/ 8GB & 4G + 1GB/ 8GB priced at EUR 89 and EUR 99 respectively and was made available in Metallic Cherry and Fine Gold color options.
The company has introduced a separate variant of Moto C that features 4G VoLTE connectivity and 1GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage. This variant is priced at 5,999 and will be made available both online and offline across the country in Pearl White and Starry Black color options.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone sports 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. It is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M Cortex-A53 SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. As mentioned above, it features 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
Moto C features 5MP rear fixed focus camera with 1.4-micron pixels, 74-degree field of view, 720p video recording, and LED flash. It also sports 2MP front facing fixed focus camera with LED flash for better low light image capturing and has 63-degree field of view.
It’s a dual SIM (Micro SIM) smartphone that comes packed with 2350mAh removable battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It also packs standard connectivity options such as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, FM Radio, microUSB port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
