HMD Global owned Nokia has launched a range of smartphones and marked its comeback in Indian smartphone market after the Lumia series shutdown when Microsoft acquired Nokia’s mobile business. HMD Global launched Nokia 6 earlier this year in January followed by Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 smartphones, lunched at MWC 2017. Nokia also introduced refreshed Nokia 3310, world’s best selling feature phone, globally and made it available in India last month.
Nokia 3 has been priced at Rs. 9,499 and will be available via offline retailers starting June 16 without any pre-booking while the Nokia 5 is priced at Rs. 12,899 and will go for pre-booking from July 7. Pre-bookings will be carried out via select authorized retailers in cities like Delhi NCR, Chennai, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Calicut, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Hyderabad. The best of three i.e. Nokia 6 comes at a price tag of Rs. 14,999 and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India. You can register for its first sale starting July 14. Starting with Nokia 3, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of design, the smartphone sports polycarbonate body and metallic frame. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat
Nokia 3 features 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 8MP front autofocus camera with display flash. It’s a dual SIM (Micro + Micro) smartphone that comes packed with 2650mAh battery. It also packs standard connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include- magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and ambient light.
Nokia 5 smartphone sports 5.2-inch LCD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. It comes with same 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card. The device also sports fingerprint sensor which has been embedded in its home button.
It features 13MP rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) and dual tone LED flash. On the front side, the smartphone sports 8MP autofocus camera with 84-degrees wide angle lens. It’s also a dual SIM smartphone (Micro SIM) and comes packed with 3000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include- magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and ambient light.
Nokia 6 sports 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection and a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and paired with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expandable further up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone features 16MP rear camera with PDAF (phase detection auto focus), f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. While, on the other hand, it has a 8MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Nokia 6 has been built using 6000 series Aluminum and features a unibody design. The android smartphone also sports fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button.

All the smartphones runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and will receive regular OTA updates. The smartphones comes pre-loaded with Google Photos app with unlimited cloud storage so that you can save device’s internal storage for more important stuff than regular photos and videos.
