Realme Narzo 30, Realme Narzo 30 5G launched in India

After a global launch a few months ago, Realme has finally launched the two new Narzo 30 series smartphones in India named Realme Narzo 30 and Realme Narzo 30 5G, launched at a virtual event alongside Realme Smart TV FHD (32) and Realme Buds Q2. Realme Narzo 30 5G is another affordable 5G offering from Realme India alongside Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

Price, availability, and offers –

Realme Narzo 30 carries a price tag of Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage option. Narzo 30 is scheduled to go on sale at 12 noon on June 29, 2021, via Flipkart and Realme India online store. On the other hand, Realme Narzo 30 5G has been priced at Rs. 15,999 for sole 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model. Narzo 30 5G will be up for grabs at 12 noon on June 30, 2021, via Flipkart and Realme.com. Both the smartphones come in two color options- Racing Blue and Racing Silver.

As for the launch offers, HDFC Bank credit card users can avail up to Rs. 500 off when paid in full and up to Rs. 1000 off on credit or debit card EMI transactions if purchased from Flipkart. While Realme.com is offering an extra Rs. 500 off by default on the first day of sale on both smartphones i.e. on June 29 and June 30 and extra Rs. 250 off via MobiKwik. Realme.com is also offering 1-month free access to MFine Care premium membership worth Rs. 999.

The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels, 405ppi pixel density) LCD In-Cell display with 90Hz refresh rate, 580 nits peak brightness and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 and is powered by an octa-core (2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) MediaTek Helio G95 (12nm) gaming series processor paired with ARM Mali-G7 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Narzo 30 comes with up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.

Realme Narzo 30 features an AI-powered triple rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, PDAF + 2MP B&W lens with an f/2.4 aperture + 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 4cm shooting distance. The setup comes paired with an LED flash and offers features like Night filters, Super Nightscape, Ultra 48MP mode, panorama, portrait mode, time-lapse, HDR, ultra-macro, AI scene recognition, and AI beautify. The setup also supports UIS Video Stabilization to compensate for shakes while recording videos. The in-display camera hole on the front houses a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie shooter with an f/2.1 aperture, 5P lens and offer features like time-lapse, selfie panorama, portrait mode, AI beautification, HDR, Super Nightscape, and bokeh effect control.

Narzo 30 offers a dedicated slot for the microSD card and accepts two Nano SIMs. The fingerprint sensor comes side-mounted for quick unlocking. The smartphone packs 5,000mAh battery capable of delivering 32 days backup on standby, 48hours of call time, 92 hours of music playtime, 16 hours video playtime, and 11 hours of gaming. The phone also supports 30W Dart Charge fast charging which is claimed to fully fuel up the battery in just 65 minutes. It also supports OTG reverse charging allowing you to charge your other USB devices such as smart watch/band.

Connectivity options onboard Narzo 30 include 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS/ Glonass/ Beidou, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on the phone other than fingerprint include ambient light, acceleometer, proximity, magnetometer, and gyroscope.

Narzo 30 5G, on the other hand, boasts a slim and light design which the company says is especially crafted for Narzo players and sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels, 405ppi pixel density) LCD In-Cell display with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 600 nits peak brightness and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 and is powered by an octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) MediaTek Dimensity 700 (7nm) 5G next-gen processor paired with ARM Mali-G57 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The phone features Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology that converts ROM into RAM offering more RAM space for smoother performance and faster switching between apps. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.

It also has an added feature called Super Power Saving Mode which ensures up to 2.1 hours of calling, up to 5.6 hours of music, or up to 1.4 hours of chatting on a 5 percent battery. Like Narzo 30, the fingerprint sensor comes side-mounted for quick unlocking.
