Oppo last week launched Oppo A71, the latest addition to its A-series smartphones, in Pakistan and Malaysia and now the company has launched the same in India at a price of Rs. 12,990. You can buy it from Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, and other offline and online retailers in Black and Gold color options.
Oppo A71 sports 5.2-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The device is powered by 64-bit 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core SoC paired with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.
The mid-range smartphone features a 13MP 1/3.06-inch f/2.2 aperture rear sensor that comes integrated with Multi-Frame Denoising technology paired with LED flash for better performance in low-light conditions, PDAF (phase detection auto focus) and panorama. While on the front side, it sports 5MP selfie camera (1.4-micron pixel, f/2.4 aperture) paired with Oppo’s unique beautify technology and is capable of generating bokeh effect. Other front camera features include selfie panorama and different filters.
Oppo A71 runs Color OS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat which packs features like split screen mode allowing you to watch YouTube videos and chat with friends on WhatsApp simultaneously. There is also a night shield feature that protects your eyes in dark environment. There is no fingerprint sensor on the device but it does include traditional device unlocking methods such as pattern lock or PIN.
It’s a dual SIM (Nano) smartphone that comes packed with 3000mAh battery claimed to last all day. Connectivity options on board Oppo’s smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, USB OTG, Micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, and magnetometer. “With A71 we aim to reach out to a greater and wider set of consumers and offer them a great camera experience,” said Sky Li, Oppo President and Managing Director (International Mobile Business).
