Asus, the Taiwanese smartphone maker, has unveiled its premium category smartphone called Asus Pegasus 4S silently that supports 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is revealed quietly with no details of its pricing and availability, however, the specifications have surfaced online detailing the device. As GizmoChina reported, Asus Pegasus 4S comes in two variants- 3GB RAM/ 32GB of internal storage & 4GB RAM/ 64GB of internal storage. The device sports almost bezel-less front joining the trend of smartphones going on these days. As for the bezels, the device features almost no side bezels and very thin top and bottom bezels making it look like Galaxy S8. It comes in two color options- Star Black and Gold.
Pegasus 4S sports 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The display comes protected with 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It comes in two storage options as we mentioned, 32GB and 64GB which can be expanded further via microSD card.
The smartphone sports dual rear camera setup comprising of 16MP sensor and 8MP sensor with autofocus, PDAF, autofocus, portrait mode, LED flash and supports FHD (1080p) video recording. On the front side, the device packs 8MP selfie shooter.
Asus Pegasus 4S is a dual SIM smartphone that comes packed with a large 4030mAh battery. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and there is also a fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. Connectivity options on the Pegasus 4S include WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, and GPS. Sensors on the smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, and ambient light. The device measures 152.6 x 72.7 x 8.8mm and weighs 160 grams.
