Google Play Store Updated To 5.6.6

Google Play Store has been updated to 5.6.6 with layout changes and possible groundwork for Kids’ accounts. The newer version of Play Store is being rolling out and is expected to hit all the devices over the next few days. If you don’t wanna wait for your play store to get auto updated, you can click here to download the APK.

The newer version of Play Store finishes standardizing the alert dialog popups. You can notice it when you leave reviews.

Besides this, a teardown of the APK by Android Police reveals that how download limits will be enforced for the kids account. Searches could be filtered to show only appropriate content. Other details suggest that in-app purchases in apps designed for kids could require an authentication to approve the purchase every single time. These new changes are not yet exposed but could be introduced in the near future.
