ISRO to lauch 22 Satellites into Space in a Solitary Mission

First Time Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) to launch 22 Satellites into Space in a Solitary Mission in June.

ISRO will dispatch 22 satellites into space in just a single mission. Three of satellites are of Indian origin, while the remaining are commercial.

Talking on the sidelines of an occasion organized by the Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry(KCCI), ISRO Chairman Kiran Kumar said the launch is expected to occur at the end of June.

Vikram Sarabhai Space Center Director, K Sivan had said ISRO’s workhouse PSLV C34 rocket will be utilized for the dispatch and the commercial satellites are from Canada, Indonesia, United States and Germany.

Kiran Kumar said that “Immediately after that, ISRO will launch a scatterometer and INSAT 3DR. This will give us the vertical temperature and stickiness profile from geostationary satellite”.
