Xiaomi Amazfit Smartwatch Launched In China

Xiaomi has launched its first smartwatch named ‘Amazfit’ in China. Made in collaboration with Huami, it’s the world’s first smartwatch to have 28nm GPS sensor. The Amazfit smartwatch will cost you CNY 799 (appx. Rs.8,100).

In terms of features, the smartwatch comes with 1.34-inch circular display with a resolution of 300×300 px. It sports scratch resistant ceramic bezel and comes with 22nm replaceable band.

Amazfit is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and is paired with 512MB of RAM. It also features a heart rate sensor on the back of the watch for non-stop tracking. The smartwatch is water and dust resistant with IP67 certification.

It can work with any android device having MiFit app installed.The smartwatch is powered by 200mAh battery which provides 5days of backup. The company will be offering mobile payment support for the AliPay service in partnership with Alibaba.
