Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Nougat beta program is ending

The last few days have been quite interestingly busy for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users. Samsung rolled out several updates to the Android Nougat beta program with the 5th version being available in UK and South Korea since yesterday as they have been actively fixing bugs since the first release rolled out to users.

According to a Weibo source the beta updates are going to end soon as Samsung is now ready to deliver a stable version to all flagship devices. The Korean manufacturer didn’t officially confirm the end of the test program, so you should still take this all with a pinch of salt.

Of course wrapping up the project doesn’t mean an update is going to happen instantly. Before rolling out to Galaxy S7/S7 Edge users the update must be certified and approved which means they have to get certification from Google and pass it’s CTS requirements. Let’s hope that it won’t be very long and users of Samsung’s current flagship will be greeted with Nougat update soon enough.
