Samsung Galaxy J1 Smartphone Launched With VoLTE Support

Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone in India called J1 (4G). The smartphone will soon be available in market on all authorized retailers across the country. It has been priced st Rs. 6,890 and comes in three color options- Gold, Black, and White.

The smartphone sports 4.5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and paired with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage that can expandable further up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of camera, it features 5MP rear camera with LED flash while on the front side, it has 2MP camera for taking selfies and video calling. Talking about its dimensions, the smartphone measures 132.6×69.3×8.9mm and weighs 131 grams.




It’s a dual SIM (Micro SIM) smartphone packed with 2050mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. Connectivity options on board J1 (4G) include- USB 2.0, GPS/ Glonass, 3.5mm audio jack, 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth v4.1. Other features include Samsung S bike mode, S power planning, and Ultra Data saving (saves up to 50%).

The smartphone has already been launched in Russia and Dubai. Intially, the company introduced the smartphone as Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) and made it available in Russia and later in Dubai. And now, the company has launched the smartphone in India as Samsung Galaxy J1 (4G) or Samsung Galaxy J1 4G (J120G).
