As we said yesterday that it’s mandatory for a device to leak multiple times before its officially announced and its coming true now. GSMArena has shared exclusive renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung and we are in for some surprises.
Samsung has taken the “edge” design forward, the side curves of the display are much more pronounced, pushing the bezels out of sight. Home button has now been removed from the front which we believe is in favor of soft keys and also the fingerprint sensor is nowhere to be seen because it is now believed to be moved under the display which is quite a technological breakthrough as of now.
To add some relief, the headphone jack is still visible so Samsung has decided to go against the current trend to remove the 3.5mm port. USB port is uncertain, from this angle, it looks like microUSB, but with both the Note7 and Galaxy A 2017 phones using USB-C we find it unlikely that Samsung will go back.
To finish it off, there’s no dual camera in sight here in these images so we believe that it is something which Samsung is now reserving for the Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone.
The much leaked smartphone is expected to be made official on April 18 by Samsung.
