Xbox Game Pass gives you unlimited access to over 100 games at just $10

Microsoft has introduced Xbox Game Pass, a gaming subscription service, which will give Xbox One owners access to over 100 Xbox One games and backward compatible Xbox 360 games at a price of only $9.99 (Rs. 699) per month. Microsoft is currently preparing to launch its Project Scorpio this holiday season, “bringing the most powerful console ever made to the Xbox One family of devices.”

The subscription service will arrive later this year which will allow users to directly download the title on the gaming console. “That means continuous, full-fidelity gameplay without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox.

Additionally, Xbox Game Pass members can purchase Xbox One games and related add-ons to make them a permanent part of their gaming library at an exclusive discount. “Every month new games will cycle into the subscription with some cycling out, giving you a constantly-updating library of games. Xbox Game Pass is your ticket to endless play.”

Before rolling it out, the subscription service will be tested by select members of the Xbox Insider program in the Alpha preview ring starting today with a very limited number of titles. Before making it available to the broader community, Xbox Live Gold members will also be receiving exclusive access to Xbox Game Pass.
