YouTube to live stream Coachella 2017

Not able to make it to Coachella this year? No worries, now you can watch the grand annual music and arts festival live on YouTube. Select performances will be live streamed in 360-degree on Coachella’s YouTube Channel. YouTube will live stream first weekend of Coachella 2017 i.e. from April 14-16.

YouTube will be offering viewers to select between three different streams and as said above, you will be able to watch some particular sets in 360-degree, all for free.

The music fest lineup includes Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Radiohead, Lorde, Bon Iver, The XX, Future, ScHoolboy Q, Two Door Cinema Club, Gucci Mane, and New Order. The streaming schedule and additional details on artists is yet to be announced, however you can expect Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, Radiohead, The XX to be included in the live streams.




Lady Gaga will be headlining Coachella 2017 replacing Beyonce, who is pregnant with twins. Beyonce is set to headline the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in 2018.

Coachella YouTube page will also be featuring a video-on-demand hub with highlights and footage from throughout the weekend. You can also personalize your viewing schedule as per your need and the live-stream channels will change to live acts accordingly. The browser or app will alert you when your favorite artist is live and will take you to the channel live streaming it. You will also be able to see inside the renowned electronic music stage Yuma for the first time ever.
