Zoomcar Hop one-way self-drive service launched

Zoomcar, the first Indian self-drive car rental company founded in 2013, has launched a service called Zoomcar Hop that lets you rent a car for the one-way self-drive. It’s a one-way intercity self-drive service that makes your travel plans more flexible and convenient.

Zoomcar Hop lets you rent a car from one Zoomcar location in one city to destination Zoomcar location in another city. To be more clear, you can travel from point A to point B, point A being the car’s pick up location and point B being the destination location where you will drop the car off.


The service is available across the country in 24 cities which include both intra-state and interstate routes. According to the company release, the 24 routes include Bengaluru–Mysore, Bengaluru–Mangaluru, Mangaluru-Mysuru, Ahmedabad-Surat, Mumbai–Pune, Chennai–Coimbatore, Kolkata–Siliguri, Vijayawada–Vizag.

Zoomcar has expanded its business from seven cities in 2016 to 24 cities in 2017. The company is looking forward to expanding its car rental service from 24 cities to over 30 cities by the end of this quarter.

Here’s what Greg Moran, company’s CEO and co-founder stated in the release- “With the launch of Hop, the company is offering a new level of convenience for our 20 lakh-plus Zoomcar customer base. We expect demand from both business and leisure travelers.”
