‘Pokemon Go’ Finally Launched In Japan

Pokemon Go finally launched in Japan. As soon as the news of launch spread everyone rushed to their smartphone to install and play Pokemon Go. Finally the global hit ‘Pokemon Go’ has been launched in the home country of Pokemon characters. India still have to wait for Pokemon Go’s official launch.

Junichi Masudo, co-creator of the game, apologized while announcing the release. He apologized for keeping players waiting for so long in the home country where ‘Pokemon’ was born two decades ago.

Junichi Masudo said “From today you can go out and find Pokemon to your heart’s content.” He also added “We hope the game enables users to see the world in a new, fulfilling way. Obey the rules and have fun.”

Previously Niantic launched “Pokemon Go” in more than 30 countries but the world’s biggest gaming market, Japan was not included because of the server problems. You can read more about it here.

After the initial launch in Australia, New Zealand and the US, the game became an instant hit beating Facebook, Twitter and many more in terms of popularity and daily active users. After that the game soon become available in Germany, UK, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
