Navy on High Alert after Men carrying arms spotted near Mumbai

The Indian Navy has been put on High alert after two schoolkids spotted some men carrying weapons in Uran near Mumbai in morning. Since then the Navy, Police, and ATS are on high alert and jointly processing the search operation.

Children reported that they have seen four or five men carrying weapons and their faces were covered. According to the two kids, they were wearing black outfit and were speaking a different language. This activity is reported near Naval base ammunition storage facility in Uran.

Not only Navy, all Air Force units in Mumbai are also on high alert. Efforts are being made to secure all the Army base in Mumbai. According to some media reports, spotted group of men were carrying backpacks and wearing Pathan Suits. The two kids also heard words like ONGC, School while they were talking.

Security has been enforced at sensitive location including Raj Bhawan, Gateway of India, Bombay High Court, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru Port and other establishments along the coast.

All the major air ports in India are already on alert since the terrorists attack on Army base in Uri on Sunday which killed 18 soldiers and left dozens injured. Since then the terrorists activities are increasing day-by-day as after two days 10 terrorists were killed in an encounter with the army in Jammu and Kashmir near Uri sector.
