10 Armed Men Break Into Nabha Jail; 5 Criminals Including Khalistan Liberation Force’s Leader Escaped

A group of at least 10 armed men broke into the Punjab’s Nabha Central Jail today’s morning and helped escape five known criminals including the chief of Khalistan Liberation Force, Harminder Mintoo. They were wearing Police uniforms and armed with guns.

According to a Punjab Police official, they even used handcuffs placed on other two men to disguise them as real cops. They came around 10am in the morning.




Here are names of escaped criminals, Harminder Mintoo, Vikramjit, Neeta Deol, Gurpreet Sekhon and Vicky Gondar. Harminder Singh Mintoo had been accused in multiple terror-related cases and was arrested from Delhi Airport in November 2014.

The state has been put on high alert and the Police has also launched a probe. A massive Investigation is going on.

Harminder Mintoo, KLF’s lader, was wanted in 10 terror-related cases. He had visited Europe in 2010 to expand his contacts and then he left Pakistan in 2013 to live in Europe for almost 11 months. Then he visited many more European countries like Italy, Germany, France before entering South East Asia. He finally got arrested in November 2014 by Punjab police.
