There are rumors all over that new Rs.2000 banknotes will have a NGC (Nano GPS Chip) for tracking purposes. These rumors are just rumors as there will not be any NGC in Rs.2000 banknotes. PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation on November 8 declaring that Rs.500 and Rs.1000 banknotes will no longer be valid and new Rs.500 and Rs.2000 banknotes will be issued.
