World’s Thinnest Laptop “Acer Swift 7” – Specifications, Price & More

Acer has already launched its Swift 7 laptop at IFA tradeshow in Berlin earlier this year. It grabbed a lot of attention as the company claimed that it is the world’s thinnest laptop which is thinner than 1 centimetre – 9.98mm. Now the company has finally launched the laptop in India and is expected to go on sale from November 18.

Getting on to the specifications, Acer Swift 7’s base model sports 13.3-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Not just it is thin, it can also be carried around with ease as it weighs 1.1kg.

“The flagship Swift 7 comes packed with an all-aluminium chassis that’s less than one centimetee thin and is packed in performance and stamina for all-day productivity,” stated Acer India.




The base model of the Swift 7 sports an 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM which is expandable up to 8GB. It also features 256GB hard-drive storage. Acer claims that the battery used in laptop can lasts for up to nine hours. The laptop runs on Microsoft’s Windows 10 Home operating system. It also features Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony sound systems for clear and immersive sound.

Acer Swift 7 will be available to buy through Acer’s exclusive stores and select multi-brand outlets. One can also buy it online from Flipkart. Starting price of the laptop has been priced at Rs. 99,999 in India.
