Xiaomi Mi Portable Mouse launched with Dual-Mode Feature

The latest product to come from Xiaomi is the Mi Portable Mouse. A wireless Bluetooth/Wi-Fi mouse that weighs only 77.5 grams and can connect to two devices.

The mouse in inspired by Apples Magic Mouse 2 Design but Mi Portable Mouse is substantially cheaper than Apple’s offering, and is priced at 99 Yuan (Rs. 1,000), and available in China in November 11.

The Mi Mouse connects to Various devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it is compatible with Mi TV, tablets, mobile phones, laptops, desktops and other devices. It supports Wireless coverage upto 10 metres, and it needs AAA batteries to keep the cursor going.




The dual-mode allows the Mi Mouse to connect to two devices and allows user to switch between and control either of the two devices with the flick of a switch. It is made using an aluminium anodized shell.

It comes with high-speed laser positioning which is claimed to offer accuracy of upto 95 percent and 1200dpi. Mi portable Mouse is fully compatible with windows 7 and above devices. Function keys, LEDs, positioning groove are all located at the bottom of the device.

Note: There is no word on when the device will launch in India.
