Nokia Promises Multiple Announcements On February 26, A Day Before MWC

Nokia 6 recently marked the return of Nokia into the smartphone world. Though the smartphone was a bit lackluster but still it was a sign of something big to expect from the once king of the smartphone world.  Now we are getting more info on what to expect from the newly reborn company.

“More announcements to follow on February 26th.” One of those announcements might be that the Nokia 6 will launch outside of China (it just went on pre-order there). But we will probably be getting a new phone or two as well – there should be 6-7 new Nokia phones this year as it was rumored earlier as well. It seems that the Nokia E1 is closest to being market-ready and a smartphone which the company might showcase at a global platform.

HMD Global will equip Nokia E1 with 1.4 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 425 CPU with Adreno 308. The RAM will be 2GB with 16 GB internal storage. There is no information if the device will feature a microSD slot but with that kind of storage it looks likely.

The display will be 720p with 5.2 or 5.3-inch diagonal but the technology is still unknown. The rear camera is 13 MP while the front one is packing a 5 MP sensor. Please take all this with a pinch of the salt as this all information is based on rumors.

Nokia E1 and Nokia D1C are just two of the new expected devices in 2017 and we are eager to see what Nokia has in store for MWC.
