Desi Girl “Priyanka Chopra” got injured on Quantico set, the American Drama thriller TV series. The 34 year old Bollywood actress met with a minor accident on the set of her ABC show and is currently resting at her home, said the network.
According to TMZ report, Priyanka slipped and fell during a stunt and suffered a concussion after head injury. She was immediately hospitalized for treatment and released by the doctor few hours later. She is now taking rest at her home.
“It would be premature to comment further until we have all the information. Priyanka was examined by a doctor, released and is home resting comfortably,” said the network.
According to the actress’ representative, she will return to work after the weekend. “She is resting comfortably at home on doctors orders, and will return to work after the weekend,” said the representative.
Production on the show will not be shut down while the “Baywatch” actress recovers.
Priyanka Chopra made her Hollywood debut with the ABC series Quantico in which she plays the lead role as an CIA agent. According to the story, she was first recruited as an FBI agent but later the FBI recruit turned CIA agent. She will also be starring an upcoming Hollywood movie named “Baywatch” alongside Dwayne Johnson, set to release on May 27, 2017.
