Middle-earth: Shadow of War coming to Project Scorpio

Warner Bros has confirmed the release of Middle Earth: Shadow of War game, a sequel to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. It will be releasing on August 22, 2017 and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, PS4 Pro, and PC. Shadow of War is also coming to Project Scorpio and Windows Store. The game is currently up for pre-orders on different online retailers.

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players wield a new Ring of Power and confront the deadliest of enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgul, in a monumental battle for Middle-earth. The open-world RPG is brought to life through the expansion of the award-winning Nemesis System. The robust personalization from the first game is now applied to the entire world where the environments and characters are all shaped by player actions and decisions, creating a personal world unique to every gameplay experience.

It comes in four editions- Standard, Silver, Gold, and Mithril edition. The Mithril edition will be available in limited quantities. All the editions comes with pre-order bonus that includes legendary champions war party and exclusive epic Sword of Dominion. Below are the full details regarding each edition including the price:




Standard Edition: This edition includes the copy of the game and the pre-order bonus. It has been priced at $59.99 for both Xbox One and PlayStation users and is available to pre-order on BestBuy and GameStop.

Silver Edition: It includes the pre-order bonus, two Nemesis expansion (Slaughter Tribe & Outlaw Tribe), and Silver War Chest. “Nemesis Expansions include a new Orc Tribe featuring new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress and wilderness updates, and a Mythic Gear Set.” You can pre-order it at a price of $79.99.

Gold Edition: It includes the silver edition + two story expansion i.e. The Blade of Galadriel & The Desolation of Mordor. “Story Expansions introduce a new campaign, playable character & abilities, side missions, enemies, allies & more.” It is available to pre-order at a price of $99.99.

Mithril Edition: This edition packs the Gold edition and further includes Limited Edition 15” Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake Statue, collection of exclusive Lithographs, premium case with Magnetic Ring of Power, exclusive steel-case, official game music soundtrack, cloth map of Mordor, Tribes sticker pack, and exclusive Mithril war chest. It will be available in limited quantities at a price of $299.99.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will also be available to buy from Xbox Store in coming days and as part of Xbox Play Anywhere, you can purchase the digital version of Middle-earth: Shadow of War on either the Xbox Store or Windows Store without any worries as you will automatically have access to the game on both Xbox One and Windows 10 at launch – and for Project Scorpio at its launch this holiday season – at no additional cost. It also allows users to continue where they left off on another Xbox One or Windows 10.
