Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime specifications, price, features

After introducing its 2017 flagship, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Samsung has now launched another smartphone called Galaxy J3 Prime for the US market as of now. Galaxy J3 Prime is a budget smartphone that comes at a price tag of $150 (approx Rs. 9,500). It has been made available via T Mobile and MetroPCS.

The smartphone sports 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 SoC paired with 1.5GB of RAM. J3 Prime comes with 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.




It features 5MP autofocus rear camera with large f/1.9 aperture optimized for low light and LED flash. On the other hand, it sports 2MP front facing camera for taking selfies. The smartphone features “Easy Mode” which helps find everything you need quickly with the streamlined layout.

Galaxy J3 Prime packs 2600mAh battery with up to 20 hours of talk time. It also packs standard connectivity options such as WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, 4G LTE, GPS, microUSB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board Galaxy J3 Prime include proximity, accelerometer, and ambient light. The smartphone measures 139.7×69.85×8.89mm and weighs 5.22 ounces (148 grams).
