Samsung has launched Galaxy Feel for the Japanese smartphone market, as of now. The pricing details have not yet been revealed however, it has been made available for pre-booking via NTT DoCoMo site. Galaxy Feel is expected to go live on sale very soon.
In terms of specifications, the all new device from Samsung sports 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card.
The device features 16MP rear camera with LED flash while on the front side, it sports 5MP camera for taking selfies. The camera features also include pre-loaded facial mode, collage function and filters. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is available in Moon White, Indigo Black, and Opal Pink color options.
It’s a single SIM smartphone that comes packed with 3000mAh battery and supports Quick Charging. It can be fully charged in about 110 minutes and is rated to deliver 170 hours of standby time, claims company. The device also packs standard connectivity options such as WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Other features on the Samsung Galaxy Feel smartphone include Hi-Resolution audio for best sound quality and sports fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button. Other sensors on board Galaxy Feel include proximity, ambient light, and accelerometer. The smartphone also sports water and dust resistance with IP6X rating.
