ZTE owned Nubia launched Z17, company’s latest high-end smartphone, at an event in held in Beijing. It is the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s latest Quick Charge 4+ technology.
Nubia Z17 is available in three variants- 6GB/ 64GB, 6GB/ 128GB, and 8GB/ 128GB priced at CNY 2,799, CNY 3,399, and CNY 3,999 respectively. It comes in five color options- Aurora Blue, Black Gold, Obsidian Black, Flame Red, and Solar Gold.
The smartphone sports sleek metal unibody with 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest 1.9GHz octa -core Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with Adreno 540 GPU and your choice of RAM i.e. 6GB or 8GB. It comes in two storage options 64GB & 128GB which can’t be expanded further.
In features dual rear cameras (one is 23MP and other is 13MP) with f/1.8 aperture, 2x optical zoom, 10x dynamic zoom, LED flash, and phase detection auto focus. There is also 16MP camera on the front side for taking selfies. The device runs Nubia 5.0 UI based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone that comes packed with 3200mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4+ technology. The new upgraded tech from Qualcomm can fuel up the phone up to 50% in just 20 minutes. Quick Charge 4+ has all the features of Quick Charge 4.0 with some enhancements. The device also features NeoPower 3.0 tech that keeps the battery up for more than 2 days in one single charge by suspending unnecessary background processes.
Nubia Z17 also packs standard connectivity options such 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Infrared Port. Sensors on tyhe smartphone include proximity, accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
