The tech, search engine giant is all set to launch its next gen Pixel series smartphones on October 4, confirmed Google itself. On its product landing page, it reads “thinking about changing phones? Stay tuned for more on October 4.” Well, Google is clearly indicating not to buy any smartphone til October 4 since the company is launching its phones packed with attractive features that you’re gonna regret over if you don’t wait.
Google is expected to launch this year version of its Pixel series smartphones which the company might name as Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Currently, we don’t know a thing about next gen Pixels but these smartphones have to be extraordinary in terms of features to fight its rivals- Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 and Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X which the company launched on September 12 at its so called special event.

Here’s what the rumors say- 2017 version of Pixel smartphones to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core Soc paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphones will feature ‘squeezable’ sides just like HTC U11 which when squeezed, will perform some specific tasks and sports IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. One of the smartphones may also sport bezel-less display just like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, Apple’s iPhone X, and Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s Mi Mix 2.
