Lenovo launched K8 and K8 Plus, expanding its K8 lineup, in India at an event in New Delhi. Lenovo K8 Plus will be available to buy exclusively from Flipkart starting September 7 at a price of Rs. 10,999 in Venom Black and Fine Gold color options. Lenovo hasn’t shared K8’s availability and price details, however, the smartphone will soon be made available via offline stores across the country, the company confirmed.
Lenovo K8 Plus sports sleek metal body with 5.2-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display that comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 2.6GHz MediaTek MTK Helio P25 octa-core SoC paired with Mali T880 MP2 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It does not feature hybrid setup, the company has provided a dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, Lenovo K8 Plus sports dual rear camera setup- 13MP Purecel Plus sensor plus 5MP depth sensor allowing you to adjust the depth in real-time. Rear cameras features include Panorama, PDAF (phase detection auto focus), and dual color LED flash. The device also packs 8MP front shooter with Fill light LED, f/2.0 aperture, pro mode (to capture in low light conditions) and 84-degree wide angle lens. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and packs fingerprint sensor placed on the rear below the camera module.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, USB OTG, microUSB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on the Lenovo K8 Plus include proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, and magnetometer.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device.
